Tai Chi Chuan & Qi Gong Training
Tai Chi Chuan & Qi Gong are two complex bodyworks systems rooted deeply in the Chinese Medicine tradition. They consist of a sophisticated combination of movements, breathing, posture and intention, to promote health, spirituality as well as improved martial arts and fitness performance.
Currently, Antonio teaches Wu, Sun and Yang styles.
TAI CHI CHUAN & QI GONG
tHESE PROGRAMS focus on the development of the fundamental principles, which are the essential building blocks of Chinese internal healing and martial arts. The classes are open to beginners and are designed to be suitable for any fitness level, as well as to be relevant and applicable for most daily life activities, including sports and office work.
Antonio is a traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and holds a BSc degree with honours (UK/Beijing). He also studied Western medicine for four years, and has had a great variety of training in Manual Therapy. Antonio started practising martial arts at an early age and by his late teens was already a Tai Chi and Yoga instructor. He continues to practise Chi Kung and Tai Chi to this date, with a focus on health and wellbeing.
Antonio offers a unique teaching approach which combines both Western and Eastern bodyworks and therapies to make Tai Chi and Chi Kung an enjoyable and deep practice, with the aim of providing relevant means to integrate it into daily life.
Tai chi small groups term classes:
Regular group classes to a maximum of 4 people per class at Torbay( Auckland). A good way to learn the forms with a variety of warm ups and add on Qi Gong exercises. We will still cover the basic principles but the main focus of these classes are to learn and practice the general choreographic of the forms. The terms are between 10 and 12 weeks long.

Payment options:
GROUP LESSONS( limited to 4 students per class)
$25 per per session per hour session.
$20 per session with a 10 class pass( $200)
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private Tai chi and Qi Gong lessons are also available. The price for private lessons is $70 per one hour session or $100 per a 90 min session.
Introduction to Qi Gong workshop
Qi gong is a powerful health preservation practice originating in China but widely adopted worldwide. This 5-hour-long Qi gong workshop is a good foundation covering philosophical and scientific aspects of Qi gong both from experiential and theoretical approaches.
Workshop content:
Philosophical foundations and origin of qi gong (introspective and contextual approach)
A scientific Qi gong era
The Qi (energetic) experience
Centering breathing work
Essential body alignments
Static Qi gong postures
Dynamic Qi gong exercises
